Ways to help prevent foundation repair problems:

1. Install gutters
2. Divert water flow from downspouts and ac condensation lines at least 5-6’ away from the structure
3. Maintain the soils around the house for proper drainage by creating a positive slope 5-6’ away from structure
4. Keep large trees & large shrubs away from the house
5. Maintain the moisture around the house by using a drip or soaker hose, keep moisture even around the entire structure

Note: Adding moisture to some soils around the foundation can cause further damage; however, the moisture in some soils will help the foundation.  Homeowners should consult a professional foundation expert before using a soaker hose – We can do that at no charge.
